Premium letting agent, Accord Lets who have property to let in Leamington, Birmingham and Warwick, have released figures confirming that Birmingham is one of the most popular areas to live in across the three cities.
In the last six months, despite the largely held belief that the property market is on the downturn, Birmingham apartments for rent and other properties in the area have sharply increased, with 690 properties being successfully rented out in Birmingham and a further 590 being let in Leamington.
Carl Mimmack, managing director of Accord, said , “We are pleased to have proved the critics wrong and that the rentals market is extremely buoyant at the present time. We have seen a whopping 690 properties being successfully rented out in the last six months, which proves that there is still a demand for property to rent in Birmingham".
"We are not surprised at these results as Birmingham is a vibrant city with lots of night life and canal system. The shops and restaurants are highly acclaimed and the convenience of the city centre with everything within walking distance makes it a highly desirable area to live."
Local resident Amy Fowler, who lives in Sutton said, “I agree with the results, Birmingham has brilliant nightlife, shopping and a great train service. Many parts of the city centre are very pretty and we even have a special arts festival in September with live shows and dancing it is definitely not to be missed. I have a few friends who have rented out Birmingham apartments and they are at a huge financial advantage down to the fact that they are paying such great rates to live in such a fantastic location”
Officially the second best shopping city in the country, not only has Birmingham got the bullring shopping centre it plays host to many different events throughout the year from the German market in December to the German wine festival in August, making it a great area to seek out that dream property to rent in Birmingham.
