Investor in People Profile

Investor in People Profile is a scheme that sets national standards of good working practices, providing a framework to work within to help and enable people to improve their performance, thereby helping to improve the overall performance of the organisation.

Accord first achieved the standard in November 2005 and to do so had introduced a number of new initiatives, working practices and policies. These included defined communication and consultation policies, a commitment towards training and development and an annual personal development review system for all Staff.

We believe that, with its focus on staff training and development and communications in particular, the Investor in People standard helps Accord to achieve practical benefits in all areas of its work and is in line with its aims and objectives. We are committed to continual development throughout the organisation and this is assisted by the manner in which all of its staff are involved with, and fully support, the new initiatives.
